This Is War

Sometimes the heart and head have fights
where it's impossible to choose
A war where two will fight for love
and one will have to loose.

In life not everything goes smooth
and the heart will choose for love
the head will choose not to get hurt
but.. only one can stand above

your head may want to say you're wrong
but your heart knows that you're right
your head knows that you should stay away
yet the heart wants you to hold on tight

The heart thinks the pleasure is worth all the pain
and the head says it's not true
that staying here will get me hurt
yet the heart leads me to you

The heart knows what you truly want
it knows it will be alright

The head will take the easy way out
letting go without a fight

No matter where life may take me
if ever such a war should start..

and I'd have to choose between these twoover my head,
I choose my heart
