Storm

The rain pounds heavily against my window payne,
As my mind hallicinates visions of your face,
Almost driving me insane.

Lightning strikes multiple times,
As thunder beats a drum of booms,
My heart shatters like glass each passion moment,
Because I dont want to be without you.

The wind blows strongly,
Interrupting my disturbing thoughts.
My phone rings, my heart sinks,
Wondering if its you or not.

I answer, even though nature is still at work.
It is you on the line and I'm happy inside,
Because you the only one that can quench my thirst.

Come over I say to you,
So that you can bring this storm to an end.
"What storm, because its clear outside?" you ask.
And I say, the storm within.
